One day study excursion tour 2021-22

To develop entrepreneurship among the students in the field of Botany and to teach them why bamboo is called green gold? And how one can use local bamboo plants for the development of different bamboo craft? For that department of Botany had organized one day study excursion to bamboo craft industry, bamboo arts gallery along with Bamboo terminus nursery and Dream garden, kudal, Sindhudurg district. All students along with two teaching faculty staff visited KONBAC bamboo factory and observed and shown to shown students about bamboo treatment, cutting, heating process, finishing process and different bamboo product which is made by KONBAC center. After that we visited to dream garden and bamboo terminus nursery. In nursery students observed and learned about different types of indoor plants, outdoor plants, soil preparation for plants, landscape design, different types of pots, hanging plants, etc. At 07:30pm we returned to Vaibhavwadi. This way one day study excursion tour was concluded.
