Three-Day Training Program on Spoken English

The Department of English and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Anandibai Raorane College jointly organized a Three-Day Training Program on Spoken English from 9th to 11th December 2025 under the aegis of PM–USHA. A total of 65 students participated in the program.

Day 1: Inauguration and Training Sessions

The program was inaugurated on 9th December 2025 at 9:30 am. in the presence of the distinguished dignitaries. Ms. V. C. Kakade delivered welcome address and the dignitaries shared their views on the importance of English communication in higher education and career development. The inauguration set a positive tone for the training program, encouraging students to participate actively.

The inaugural function was followed by Session I, conducted by Dr. Rajesh Mali, who spoke on “Importance of Spoken English in Formal and Informal Situations.” He emphasized the need for effective communication in academic, professional, and daily-life contexts.

Session II was led by Dr. Arvind Jadhav, who delivered an informative session on “Vocabulary Building and Usage.” The session focused on practical strategies to enrich vocabulary for fluent communication.

Day 2: Training Sessions

On the second day, Session I was conducted by Mr. Santosh Patil, Director of Tej Spoken English Academy. He guided students on “English Speaking in Informal Situations,” highlighting real-life conversational techniques.

Session II featured Dr. Somnath Panade from Shri R. R. Patil College, Savlaj, Nipani, who trained participants on “Interview and Group Discussion.” His session included mock interviews and GD activities that boosted students’ confidence.

Day 3: Training Session and Valedictory

The final day began with Session I by Mr. Santosh Patil, who focused on “Public Speaking and Presentation Skills.” Students practiced speeches, presentations, and confidence-building exercises.

The Concluding Session included certificate distribution and feedback from participants, who expressed that the program significantly improved their communication abilities. Dr. V. C. Kakade presented a comprehensive review of the three-day training program and proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of resource persons, organizers, and students.

This Three-Day Training Program proved highly beneficial for all 65 participants. It enhanced their spoken English skills and motivated them to communicate confidently in both formal and informal settings. The program concluded successfully with positive feedback and active participation
