Workshop on Women Safety and Scholarship 2024-25

The Women Development Cell and the Internal Complaints Committee of the College celebrated conducted “One Day Workshop on Women Safety and Scholarship” in collaboration with Vaibhavwadi Police Station on Friday, 20th Sept. 2024 at 10.30 as per the directions given by Higher and Technical Education Dept. Govt. of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai. Police Constables, Mrs Arati Rathod and Mrs. Asha Chavan were present as the representatives of the police station and Prof. N.V. Gawali was present as the Chairperson of the program. Dr. V. C. Kakade, Convener of the WDC delivered welcome speech in which she gave information about Vishakha Guidelines, 2013 Act of Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace and UGC Guidelines on Safety of Students. Mrs. Arati Rathod guided the students on the role of the police for safety of women. Dr. R. M. Gulde, Assistant Professor of Psychology, guided the students regarding different scholarships available for girl students. Asst. Prof. Mrs. S.S. Patil anchored the program and Dr. Vijay Paithane proposed vote of thanks.
